Aspen Drilling currently operates a fleet of top-drive Schramm TXD130 Drilling Units, capable of vertical and horizontal well bores to 5,000'. Each rig sits on a Crane Carrier with 400-HP Cat C-13 Diesel and Deck Engine 800-HP Detroit Diesel 12V20000DM, additional 50-foot Derrick, 130,000-pound Pullback and 35,000-pound Pulldown capable of drilling depth to 6,000 ft (2” to 26” hole). High-pressure BOP and rotating heads have been added to accommodate the drilling of oil and gas wells.
