Aspen is continuously upgrading equipment to insure low down time. We have a new TXD180 rig on order from Schramm that will be capable of drilling to 7,500' depths, with 180,000# pull back. Aspen Drilling, LLC has been engaged for exploratory projects involving its state-of-the-art low impact, (minimal surface damage) rigs in the Whitewater area of Mesa County. The more compact units do not require large pits or leveling of the ground. They use a 'leveling jack' and are 'much quieter' than less environmentally-friendly rigs.
